He founded the Pharma/Medicine and Medical Product Department at the Health Authority in Abu Dhabi. He was the Head of Drugs and Medical Products Regulation Section and Chair several committees including Abu Dhabi Pharmacy and therapeutics Committees;Continuing Pharmacy Education Committee and Alternative and complementary committee,Pharmacy Council, Vaccine Committee and Allergy and Asthma committee. He founded the drug information and poison control center in Abu Dhabi. Dr.Mohammed won the ArabHealth Award in 2005 for excellence in pharmacy services. His major area of research is in drug safety and rational drug use. He is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences.
Dr. Meriem Komiha is a general physician who studied at the Faculty of Medicine in University of Tunis. She worked as a pharmacovigilance officer in France and as a country safety lead in a pharmaceutical company in Tunisia. Her focus in patient safety has been a significant driver in her career and she hopes to continue the focus in organizing medical educational events. Her experience includes clinical and medical research and she collaborated in setting up epidemiological studies in France.
Roberto Ibasco was a student on the accountancy program in De La Salle University and finished his accounting degree at Philippine Christian University. He was employed as an Auditor at SGV & Co (largest auditing firm in the Philippines and is a member practice of Ernst & Young). He has participated, planned and managed more than 30 healthcare conferences in UAE. In addition from organizing events, Roberto also has more than 9 years extensive experience in performance of Accounting, Audit, Billing, Credit & Collection, US Sales Taxation, Customer Service and other related Business Process Outsourcing Services. He had received several recognitions and Awards in relation to his work performance.
Abrar is a Bachelor of Finance and Banking degree holder from United Arab Emirates University and currently works as the Special Project Coordinator for medical events where her main goal is to coordinate details of event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations. She takes ultimate responsibility for the success of an event from conference’s development, planning, inception, marketing and actual delivery. She possess a good knowledge of financial markets and instruments from both a global and a local perspective and use appropriate quantitative and analytical techniques to identify a financial problem, analyze and compare alternatives and propose a solution. She demonstrates effective participation and contribution in team related work in order to achieve the team’s objectives
Christa Vijay, graduated B.E. in Computer Science Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India in 2009. She started her career with Al Fahad Group, Abu Dhabi in 2009 which gave her an initial boost and exposure to current technologies and development. Thereafter she joined a pharmaceutical company in 2011 which has branches spread all over the Emirates. She is experienced in Networking and Software development. She has solely developed sales and reporting management system as per requirements, and almost 100 employees are currently using it in daily basis. She planned and implemented the complete IT infrastructure which includes secured Server room, access control security, access point and repeater, biometric system, temperature and humidity monitoring system
Joel is our in house Graphic Designer who designs all the graphics on our conference and event material. He has a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts (Advertising Arts) from University of Bohol, Philippines. He has nine years experience in creative design (Advertising, industrial design and 3d visualisation), conceptualisation, freehand sketch, draft to final art work production and adept in graphic design platforms. Concrete background on Web Design, Front End Development in web coding mark up HTMLS, PHP, CSS3, jquery and Foundation Framework. He has been involved in the design of a range of publications and products from conference websites, posters, brochures, newspapers and magazines.
Jester is responsible in searching for potential customers with the aim of winning new business, as well as maintaining good relationships with clients. His focus is primarily on generating sales by increasing the number of delegates, exhibitors and sponsorships in each event. He is an Associate-degree holder in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Asian College of Science and Technology and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication in the University of the Assumption, the first Catholic Archdiocesan University in the Philippines and in Asia. His career started in Food and Hospitality Industry for more than three years but accepted a new challenge as he shifted to Sales and Customer Service Industry. In June 2012, his more than six-year commendable sales and telemarketing expertise has been recognized as he got promoted as Sales Assistant Vice President (AVP) in one of the top Business Process Outsourcing Companies in Clark, Philippines.
He is responsible for our Door to Door Marketing within the UAE. Demonstrate and provide information on promoted products/services. Create a positive image and lead consumers to use it. Distribute brochures, flyers related to the event. to source possible attendees. Now he is venturing to basic skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Succesfully attended basic Accounting Course in Abu Dhabi.
